Council runs Local Plan Exhibitions for residents

local development plan consultation 3 front pageThe Future of South Cambridgeshire is at stake as the District Council goes into the final stages of preparing a new Local Plan that will set out the vision for the district over the coming years up to 2031.

 

A public consultation for the Proposed Submission Local Plan began on Friday 19 July running until 5pm Monday 30 September 2013.  There is none scheduled for August due to the school holidays.

 

The Council is running a series of public exhibitions across the district in July and September from 2.30pm to 7.30pm. Residents are encouraged to go along to see the consultation material and meet Council officers who will be on hand to answer questions and provide clarification.

An exhibition will be on display at the Council’s office in Cambourne throughout the public consultation

 

HOW TO MAKE YOUR COMMENTS

For more information and to make comments on the Proposed Submission Local Plan:

1. ONLINE CONSULTATION SYSTEM – Visit www.scambs.gov.uk/localplan where you can view documents, make comments online, and view comments received (once they have been registered). Guidance on how to use the system is available on the Instructions webpage.

2. Complete the consultation response form, which you can download as a pdf document or as a word document, print, complete and return to SCDC by email or post.

A printed copy of the Proposed Submission Local Plan will be available to view at your local library during the consultation.
