Black History Month 2020 Celebrations
Today is the start of Black History month, a time set aside for remembering all the Black people that contributed to the UK of today with their sweat and lives. We also are celebrating the achievements of our ancestors that came before us and those of us still here today.
What is White Privilege?
The discussion on race rages on, but still there continues to be misunderstandings about some of the terms being used. Take for example “White Privilege”. That seems to get a lot of white people upset or angry because the application of the phrase is taken literally and not understood in the context of racism.
